Mark Dolan, of Balls of Steel and World’s Greatest Prankster fame, toned the slapstick down for a more intimate, observational gig.
Tall and geeky, but charismatic and engaging, Dolan gave an amusing and insightful view into politics, geography and family life.
His lighthearted take on what he wants to do to make the world a better place was funny, but at times surprisingly made a lot of sense - for instance bringing back winking into the general population and implementing a law which prosecutes any driver who does not give a thank you gesture when necessary.
Among his original thoughts were how obesity could also lead to positive changes for the whole population and dreams of making the UK the socket capital of the world.
Likeable Dolan convinced the small crowd that his comedy stretches beyond the realms of television.
