Nick Mulvey has a rapidly growing fan base following the recent radio air time of Meet Me There and Fever To The Form.
A sell-out crowd eagerly anticipated his appearance whilst listening to the dulcet tones of support band Sivu. The singer and acoustic guitarist was not dissimilar to Mulvey, with a hint of Jack Steadman thrown in.
A huge roar and then a hushed and obedient silence swept through the fans as Mulvey began the set with a slower hypnotising number which got the crowd swaying.
Settled and relaxed, the mood quickly turned more upbeat as Mulvey and his four-piece backing band equipped with instruments from ukuleles to a double bass came to life.
The set continued to differ from calm to manic to just a simple jam up until Nick ordered his band off stage and announced: "I thought it would be nice for us to sing a little song together, just me and you".
The crowd weren't disappointed with Mulvey's more intimate and personal moments.
Humble and endearing Mulvey played with a smile and a sway, even through a snapped guitar string.
