Candy floss, clowns and amazing feats of derring-do – the lure of the big top is pretty hard to resist. Urban-themed, Circus Of The Streets mixes up all the thrills and spills of traditional circus skills with street performance to showcase the work of young performers fresh from training schools – and there is plenty of talent on show.

Top picks include the incredible contortionist who does things with a tennis racket that really would most definitely be 'out' at Wimbledon and the beautiful trapeze act made all the more impressive by their sparkly light-up leotards – the best advert for wearable tech yet.

Top marks also go to the man on diabolo, who seductive in a dark suit and crimson shirt, spins and flicks those sticks to get not just one, not two, but three diabolos flying through the air.

BMX tricks and body popping help keep the street theme alive, with everything held together by a thundering dance floor soundtrack and the antics of an all-knowing clown.

Not always the most original show, perhaps, but a bedazzling and impressive display of spectacle and talent nonetheless.
