This was a delightfully wacky show that attracted a large crowd for an afternoon performance.
Everybody loves a party and it was Georgie's 40th.
The three female caste members played a variety of stylised characters in a story that did away with the fourth wall and in doing so established a chummy rapport with the crowd. "We should live life as we see it in our dreams."
Exactly what that story was about was not always clear as we ventured to The Edge of Paranoia, observed a Seed of Doubt being extracted from an ear and finished with a rousing version of Ain't No Mountain High Enough.
However, the myriad of plot twists and turns did not take anything away from the humour and overall enjoyment.
Middle age and current perceptions of women were definitely at the heart of the piece.

There was a sprinkling of literary references, there was cake making, and there were flippers, of course.
It was a journey that ended happily, which is always a nice; and it was a show full of the joys of Fringe.
