THIS tribute show was an absolute winner for fans of the King of Pop.
The crowd was singing along and waving from side to side through Michael Jackson’s classics.
What makes this show stand out is the amazing live band of a guitarist, bassist, drummer and keyboardist with a backing singer, three dancers and a professional light show.
I’ve seen Michael Jackson tribute acts who just use a backing CD but this act is complete, with lots of costume changes adding to the spectacle.
Another Part of Me was an early highlight, the singer Ben belting out the lyrics just like the original.
The guitar on Black or White really gave it that rock vibe before the intense stage drama of The Way You Make Me Feel.
The three dancers were great all night and shone during Beat It.
The singer kept telling us “I’m Ben”, and he has a really nice stage persona, giving the evening a nice fun atmosphere. And yes he does a great Moonwalk.
The final songs of the performance ramped it up a gear. The hypnotic stomp of They Don’t Care About Us got everyone moving before more impressive drama with Billie Jean and the moving vocals of Heal the World.
