The Argus: 900 Spaces

900 Spaces

From: Brighton and Chichester

Profile: They only started playing the Brighton scene at Christmas, but four-piece 900 Spaces have already got through to the national finals of the annual Live And Unsigned band competition. The winners of the competition, which attracted 10,000 entrants this year, walk away with £20,000 to go towards a single release, a place on the Live And Unsigned national tour and a management contract with Future Music.

The band will be trying to impress a panel of judges including legendary Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, Radio One’s Annie Nightingale and Dane Bowers. 900 Spaces have already released an EP Peeling Technology, which is available through their MySpace site.
