Influences: Gospel, country, soul and blues.

Profile: A graduate of the Brighton Institute Of Modern Music, Dani Wilde was signed to blues record label Ruf Records after opening for Jools Holland at the Royal Albert Hall in 2007.

The Brighton-based singer-songwriter has notched up more than 300 live shows in the past two years.

She is now working on her fourth album with Grammy Award-winning producer Ike Nossel.

This week's Download Loving You was recorded live and unplugged in Northampton, with Wilde on guitar and vocals backed by Eddie Floyd and Geno Washington guitarist Stuart Dixon and triple British Blues Award nominee Will Wilde on harmonica.

Her three solo studio albums have topped the official iTunes blues chart in Austria, Portugal and Italy, and have earned her regular airplay on BBC Radio 2, including four sessions at their Maida Vale Studios.

Live she has shared stages with Pee Wee Ellis at Womad, and opened for Robben Ford, Journey, Foreigner and Johnny Winter in New York’s Times Square.
