The Argus: Donna Fullman

Donna Fullman

From: Brighton

Influences: 1960s and 1970s folk, country and blues, Kirsty MacColl and Sandy Denny.

Profile: Born within the sound of Bow Bells, Donna Fullman was accepted into the Brighton Institute Of Modern Music as a vocalist.

She has since learned the guitar and honed her songwriting skills, as can be heard on her 11-track album Inner World, which was recorded at Brighton’s Homesick Recording Studios in 2012.

Fullman has seen her music playlisted on BBC6 Music, and supported the likes of Seth Lakeman and Cara Dillon – as well as appearing at the Massachusetts Eve Rising Festival, the Southbank Centre’s Festival Of Britain and in the Brighton Dome foyer for 2011’s city festival.
