Fighting Fiction

From: Brighton

Profile: Already championed by the likes of Kerrang!, Rocksound and The Fly, Brighton's own Fighting Fiction are releasing their eponymous debut album on Xtra Mile Records on Monday.

The punk four-piece was formed in 2007 at Bath Spa University. They have already built up an impressive tour CV, having played the Lock Up Stage at last year's Reading And Leeds Festival and numerous Isle Of Wight Festivals as well as supporting Frank Turner, This Town Needs Guns, The Xcerts and Laura Marling.

Their ten-track pop-punk album was recorded last year with producer Mark Williams, who has previously worked with Oceansize, Million Dead, Biffy Clyro and Enter Shakari.

February 20 saw the release of its lead track Turning Rebellion Into Money.

The new eponymous album is available from iTunes at itunes.apple.com/gb/preorder/fighting-fiction/id498791545.
