Profile: Sabrina Altan will be ending her year in style by playing a showcase at Ronnie Scott’s legendary jazz club in London on Tuesday, December 18.

It’s a long way from where Altan started as a Turkish girl living in Essex, who decided to move to Brighton to hone her songwriting craft.

She has already lent her vocals to tracks by Russian DJ Bobina, urban rockers Karl Phillips and The Midnight Ramblers and has appeared on MTV’s The City.

She will be talking about her musical influences and career so far as part of the Hotel Pelirocco show on Radio Reverb on Saturday, November 24, from 10pm.
