Bushman Brothers

From: Brighton via South Africa

Profile: South African-born Kellner brothers Brian and Steve moved to Brighton as teenagers, where drummer Steve began playing sessions with the likes of M’s Robin Scot, Dire Straits’ John Illsley and The Who’s John Entwhistle and attracted an endorsement from Gretsch drums.

He went on to play drum clinics for the likes of Sabian cymbals and Vic Firth drumsticks around the world.

Meanwhile guitarist Brian started working with Ernie Ball Music Man guitars and strings, and Jim Dunlop pedals and accessories, filming demonstrations and holding clinics.

They have composed more than 150 pieces of music for film and television including Malcolm In The Middle, Snakes On A Plane and The Mighty Boosh.

On the side they began writing their debut album as The Bushman Brothers, Tone Tonic, taking influences from their travels.
