The voting is taking place ahead of the Museums At Night weekend in May.
Phoenix Brighton, in Waterloo Place, want photographer Rankin to create a new portrait photograph to change attitudes to the Roma people for the event which runs from Thursday, May 15 to Saturday, May 17.
Also part of the Connect10 scheme is Hailsham’s Observatory Science Centre which is inviting Fred Deakin of Lemon Jelly down for the weekend.
And Hastings Jerwood Gallery and Brighton Museum And Art Gallery, in Pavilion Gardens are going head-to-head to snag performance photographer Spencer Tunick for a nude photoshoot featuring more than 250 volunteers.
