Live performances by The Levellers and Pere Ubu are among the highlights in a music-themed CINECITY 2014.
The Levellers will do an acoustic performance at Duke Of York’s Picturehouse after a screening of A Curious Life, a new documentary focusing on the ten years from the band’s debut EP release in 1988 (8.40pm, November 26).
Garage rockers Pere Ubu will perform a live underscore to Roger Corman's 1963 classic as X: The Man with the X-Ray eyes (Duke Of York’s Picturehouse, 9pm, November 23).
A sneak preview of the annual film festival programme also reveals Brighton-based electronic music project Juno Reactor presents Sergei Parajanov’s 1968 film The Colour Of Pomegranate.
Tickets for the premieres are on sale from www.picturehouses.co.uk.
CINECITY runs from November 20 to December 7 and the full programme will be released late October. Visit www.cine-city.co.uk.
