Back in July artist Lucy Sparrow reimagined a Bethnal Green cornershop using 300 square metres of felt.
Now the 28-year-old is bringing the experience to Brighton’s No Walls Gallery with Cornershop- By-The-Sea.
It took Sparrow seven months to create all 4,000 items for the original cornershop, which was funded through a Kickstarter campaign.
Stock ranges from fishfingers and cans of Spam to newspapers and the softest loo roll ever manufactured, with many familiar brand names.
Sparrow even went as far as creating the till, pick and mix stand and a functioning price gun out of felt.
Everything on show will be available to buy – although it will stay in the shop for the duration of the exhibition.
Cornershop-By-The-Sea is open Tues to Sat noon to 7pm, Sun noon to 5pm, free.
