NOW also a hit podcast entitled The Odditorium, Brighton’s stalwart debating salon The Catalyst Club remains a strong fixture in the city’s entertainment calendar.
This month founder David Bramwell, of Cheeky Guide fame, is hosting two sessions of talks and discussions about private passions, including an appearance by regular Dr Alastair Goode.
As ever the subjects of the talks are kept a closely guarded secret until the night, but last month saw the club debate shadows, hacking as an art form and a dairy-free future where we all eat meat cultivated from animal stem cells.
Look out for a second Catalyst Club at the Manchester Street venue on Thursday, January 28.
