Brighton Science Festival: Big Science Weekend
Sallis Benney Theatre, University Of Brighton, Grand Parade, Brighton, Sat, Feb 27, and Sun, Feb 28, 9.30am, £9/£6, www.brightonscience.com
BRIGHTON’S celebration of science culminates in a weekend of talks by leading experts.
Tomorrow the subjects range from artificial intelligence to the infinitesimal, while on Sunday there is an exploration of psychedelic drugs and an explanation of the poisons used in Agatha Christie’s crime thrillers.
Access to stands and workshops in the Sallis Benney Theatre foyer is free throughout the weekend – with the opportunity to test senses, train snails and take part in a mass experiment with spatial knowledge.
