From: Brighton and Cambridgeshire

Influences: Wilco, Lambchop, Kate Bush.

Profile: Borrowing their name from a peculiar Fenland festival, Straw Bear began life as a drummer-less trio with sequenced beats and questionable lyrics. Now, with a drummer on board, they have channelled their folkier points into something more melodic and song-driven. They are currently recording their second album, Black Bank, in rural Cambridgeshire.
