A flurry of top names from the music world have been confirmed for the ninth edition of new music festival The Great Escape.
Indie four-piece Wild Beasts, who this week celebrate the release of their fourth album, Present Tense, join Doves' frontman Jimi Goodwin, 2013 Mercury Prize nominee Jon Hopkins, and Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr on the bill for the long weekend in May.
Other highlights include electronic newcomer East India Youth, London R 'n' B act Joel Compass, rap collective Rat King, Brooklyn trio Augustines, folk rockers Dry The River and BBC Sound of 2014 nominee George Ezra.
The Great Escape runs at venues across Brighton and Hove from May 8 to May 10.
