The Fall: Concorde 2, Madeira Drive, Brighton, Thursday, September 25
ALMOST 40 years on from launching the seminal band, Mark E Smith is fronting The Fall’s most stable line-up in its history.
It’s yet to be seen whether last year’s addition of second drummer, former Nightingale Daren Garratt, will shake things up between Smith and keyboard-playing spouse Elena Poulou, bassist Dave Spurr, guitarist Peter Greenway and drummer Keiron Melling.
But with the band’s 31st album and follow-up to last year’s Re-Mit on the way expect a mix of new material and the possibility of gems from Smith’s extensive back catalogue.
Doors 7.30pm, tickets £22. Call 01273 673311.
