Benefit shows
Saturday, January 9
LEADER of Burgess Hill Concert Orchestra violinist Richard Sutcliffe is joining forces with pianist and church organist Phillip Sear to raise money for Haywards Heath Action For Children.
The pair will play Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata, alongside works by Elgar, Tchaikovsky and Handel, to raise cash for the charity which runs more than 650 local services for young people across the UK.
Meanwhile in Brighton Mick Hart And The Hartbreakers, Burning Organ, Paperboy, Mum, Dad And The Kids and 1980s hitmakers The Piranhas are playing a benefit show for Loui Legend at Concorde 2.
Loui was born last February with the rare condition Treacher-Collins Syndrome, which affects development of the bones and facial tissue. The money raised will go towards paying for pioneering corrective surgery to help him lead as normal a life as possible.
