FOR a brief period The Seahorses were one of the country’s biggest Britpop bands, scoring big hits with Love Is The Law and Blinded By The Sun.
The band, which was based around former Stone Roses guitarist John Squire, and vocalist Chris Helme, toured with U2, Oasis and The Rolling Stones.
Their debut album Do It Yourself sold more than 300,000 copies, but the band disintegrated while trying to make a follow-up.
This is a chance to see what Helme has been up to since in an intimate solo show – no doubt including selections from The Seahorses, his York supergroup The Yards and his own three albums.
