BATH-BORN Gabby Young was set to become an opera singer until she discovered Jeff Buckley.
She has built up a cult following through her distinctive self-released songs in her own genre described as circus swing.
This is augmented by her idiosyncratic takes on fashion, with Stylist and Artrocker magazines both describing her as a style icon.
She crowd-funded £9,000 in four weeks from her fans to record her second album 2014’s One Foot In Front Of The Other, the follow-up to 2012 calling card The Band Called Out For More.
