Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes
The Haunt, Pool Valley, Brighton, Sat, Feb 20, 7pm, £12, 01273 606312
IN 2007 frontman of hardcore punk outfit Gallows Frank Carter topped the NME Cool List – providing possibly the most leftfield choice since Justin Timberlake in 2003.
After that initial flurry of attention – which included a Kerrang! Award for the best British newcomer that same year and two well-received albums – Carter and Gallows parted ways.
After a brief spell as Pure Love, Carter has since formed The Rattlesnakes, and is set to play only one of three UK headline shows in Brighton this weekend to coincide with the band’s spot on the nationwide Kerrang! Tour.
Expect something pretty intense.
