With his first band Suede, Brett Anderson helped pave the way for Britpop with their Mercury Music Prize- winning debut record. Four albums later the band broke up, leaving Brett to team up with former songwriting partner Bernard Butler in The Tears before going solo.
His second album, Wilderness, released earlier this year, sees Haywards Heath-born Brett strip everything down to just his voice, piano or guitar, making it perfect for this one-off St George's Church show. He will be playing two sets, with no support, starting at 8.30pm sharp.
- Doors 8pm, tickets £15. Call Rounder Records in Brighton Square on 01273 325440 or Resident, in Kensington Gardens on 01273 606312.
