WITH the rise of social media and email even the humble Valentine’s card can be a wholly electronic affair.
With the season of lovers falling over a weekend this year, Brighton Little Theatre’s Sarah Williams has created her own paen to the lost art of the love letter – drawing on examples penned by the likes of WH Auden, Dylan Thomas and Katherine Hepburn.
Accompanied by music from across the centuries the two performances will examine the many aspects of love – including correspondence between parents and children, passionate farewells, and the darker side of romance.
