A CLASSIC play based on John Steinbeck’s famed novel of the same name.
Set in America during the Great Depression, George and Lennie are two migrant farm workers looking for a new beginning and a small patch of land.
Bound by their shared dream, the pair arrive in California but soon find themselves in trouble due to a misunderstanding which spirals out of control.
Presented by the Touring Consortium Theatre Company and directed by Roxana Silbert.
"Guys like us, that work on ranches, are the loneliest guys in the world. They got no family. They don’t belong no place…with us it ain’t like that. We got a future. We got somebody to talk to that gives a damn about us."
