Since launching at the Paramount Comedy Festival 2007, Upstairs At Three and Ten has become synonymous with stand-up. This week the venue is hosting a star in the making, Brian Gittins, who has recently been supporting Ricky Gervais as he warms up for his new show Science.
Joining roadside cafe owner Brian, and his equally odd assistant Angelos Eppethemiu, will be live wire comic Phil Kay.
But that is not the only comedy on offer. Jan 30 sees the return of Katy Schutte’s regular stand-up night Rabbit In The Headlights, and Jan 31 sees a double-header featuring the unmissable character comedy of Joanna Neary and cheeky northerner Julie Jepson.
- Rabbit In The Headlights, Jan 30, 8pm, £6/£5
- Joanna Neary and Julie Jepson, Jan 31, 8pm, £7/£5
- Brian Gittins and Friends, Feb 5, 8pm, £8/£6
