John Street Police Station Opening Hours:7days a week 0800 to midnight.Tarner Neighbourhood forms part of the Queens Park Ward in Central Brighton . The boundaries for this area (south boundary) Edward Street north pavement,(east boundary) Queens Park Road west pavement, (north boundary) Albion Hill north pavement and (west boundary) Grand Parade east pavement. Tarner consists of a mixture of private and social housing with narrow terraced streets as well as both high and low rise blocks of flats. It is the most densely populated part of Brighton & Hove and contains double the city average of BME people. The area also has a high percentage of residents with mental health issues. The main Brighton Police Station is located within this neighbourhood. Tarner has received additional government funding since 2001 as a designated super output area due to the high levels of social deprivation.
