Personal Overview - Captured this potential four way marginal seat in 2010. Likely to be a pragmatic and modernising Green Party member and seems willing to deal with other parties and business. In the longer term she appears to favour further reform of the British Electoral system towards Proportional Representation. This in the hope that the Green Party will be able to play a role in Government, as is the case in several continental European countries. She stood down as Green Party Leader in September 2012 to enable someone else in the party to gain a higher profile. Natalie Bennett replaced Caroline as the new leader of the Green Party for England and Wales.
