I had a very nasty virus last week but my new doctor refused to give me penicillin, which always works really well for me. That's the first time a medic has been uncooperative like this.
Why did she refuse?
Becasue penicillin has absolutely no effect on viruses. So it would be daft to take it for a viral infection.
