My fiance bought me a lovely set of underwear for my 27th birthday. However, every time I put it on, I get intense itching and redness wherever the material touches my skin. Could this be an allergy?
Almost certainly. There are all sorts of chemicals which can be present in lingerie. Indeed, I recently read about a Scotswoman who suffered an anaphylactic shock reaction when she put on a new pair of panties. There's no way of treating you to make you non-allergic to these undies. So, sadly, you're just going to have to abandon them.
