I am 21, and have a new boyfriend. One night, I opened the drawer next to his bed and found a rude novel hidden there. I wasn't shocked by that, but I was really appalled by the fact the story went on and on about girls being chained up in dungeons and whipped.
Unfortunately, these topics are of interest to an awful lot of guys. If you wander into any bookshop which sells erotic literature, you'll find there isn't much straight "boy meets girl" sex fiction. Instead, there are masses of novels in which the heroine gets locked up in a castle or prison or fortress and is subjected to pretty frightful treatment. Unless you fancy spending your life playing Dungeons and Dragons with this bloke, it may be time to move on.
