Man mugged near train station

A man was mugged as he walked home from a train station.

The 26-year-old victim was pushed against a fence by two men in Tamworth Road, Hove, at 11am on Tuesday.

He had just got off a train at Aldrington Halt station when they approached him.

The victim, who has not been named, was forced to hand over his black Reebok rucksack containing a mobile phone and cash.

The two attackers, both of eastern European appearance, walked off towards Portland Road.

The first suspect is 6ft and was described by the victim as large and overweight for his size.

The second man was about 5ft 6ins and slim with wavy black hair and a scar on his forehead.
