Robbery at Tesco Express in Woodingdean

A man in black robbed a security guard as he delivered money to a supermarket cashpoint.

Police made house to house enquiries after the raid at Tesco Express in Warren Road, Woodingdean at 11.15am today.

The man threatened the security guard and took a box used to fill cash machines.

He got away in a silver Renault Megane.

The car was later found in nearby Warren Rise.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or has any information is asked to call Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

If it helps the Police we can discount one "Man in Black" Johnny Cash is dead.
That should help the search!
