Car crash man cut free

A man had to be cut free from his car after a crash on the A23.

The accident happened at just after 5.20pm today, between Pyecombe and The Pylons.

No other cars are believed to have been involved.

After firefighters from Brighton, Burgess Hill and Hurtpierpoint had freed the man using hydraulic cutting equipment, he was taken to hospital.
