Indeed Ted, getting to Brighton and then to HH at that time of day must have taken hours.

They did say the helicopter was coming. I hope the lady is ok. I have been thinking about her all day.

Is Worthing's A & E department no good anymore? See a lot of the time people get taken to Brighton. Thoughts are with the lady and her loved ones.

Brighton is the designated Major Trauma Centre for this neck of the woods, so anything that meets criteria is transferred there for ongoing care. In time neurosurgery is supposed to move on to the County site so that it will stop the need for further transfers. With regard to the helicopter it has operational limitations with regard to weather, and i'm guessing that with the fog this morning it was not flyable. hope the lady does ok.
