Well it's in a roundabout, so possibly driving too fast into and through the roundabout and the load might have shifted at the same time.

that is not on the roundabout that is going towards seaford on that sharp right hand bend and yes prob the load had shifted but lorries can only do 56mph could have been a rear tyre blowout love the way people who drive cars automatically blame the driver of large vehicles

Highly unlikely a blown tyre caused it to roll over, otherwise there would be loads of lorries on their sides on the motorways. Possibly a badly loaded (by the customer) / heavy skip that has shifted the centre of gravity, and the roundabout taken a little too fast, or the driver had to swerve to avoid something on the roadabout, like an idiot car driver that pulled out in front of him.
And before people started slating me, my dad and brother were lorry drivers, and I also drove a lorry for a couple of years, so am fully aware of car drivers pulling into spaces that would be there if it was a car behind, but not a lorry, given the extra distances required to stop.

Excess speed and a shifting top heavy load are the most likely cause for this. I doubt very much it was a mechanical failure.
