Large fire in Crawley

A large fire was tackled by firefighters this morning in Crawley.

Five appliances were used to tackle the blaze at Broadfield Barton, which started at about 4.30am.

The fire is believed to have started in the ground floor of the two-storey property, consisting of flats above a shop.

There were no persons involved with the fire, which is believed to be accidental, and it was out by 6.20am.
