Four injrued as car crashes into tree on A285 near Chichester
Four people were hurt when a car hit a tree on the A285 near Chichester last night (October 30).
The silver Ford Fiesta was travelling south at about 9pm when it left the road just north of Halnaker and hit a tree.
Two passengers, an 18-year-old man from Chichester and a 17-year-old girl also from Chichester, were seriously injured in the crash.
They were both taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment where they remain today (Wednesday).
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old woman from Chichester, received minor injuries and was taken to St Richards Hospital in Chichester.
The third passenger, a 16-year-old boy from Chichester, received minor injuries and was also taken to St Richards Hospital.
The A285 was closed in both directions until 2am while police carried out an investigation.
