I have often posted on here that Sussex Police treat crime involving students differently to crime committed by young people who are not students. I hope Sussex Police and the wider public, now understand that sadly, even students get involved in serious crime in this town and it should not be considered as 'anti-social behaviour' or ' drunken student japes' and brushed off; and when members of the public call police about criminal activity in their communities being committed by student neighbours, the control centre handlers should not brush it off as anti-social behaviour for the council's environmental health team to deal with.
Crime is crime and residents should be supported when reporting crime no matter who is committing it.
I will be watching this case, to see if charges are brought, because you can bet if these lads were local/non-students they would be processed through the magistrates' court pretty swiftly.

Buses are full of students at 5am in the morning returning to university after drinking all night, is that what university is all about? Students seem to have a lot of money to spend on alcohol which leads to unsocial behavior.
The council are also to blame for allowing alcohol to be sold all through the night,

Yes all night drinking is part of the "university experience" for many, but being stabbed in the chest generally isn't

Maxwell's Ghost is there a point in your post somewhere?
