Pedestrian seriously injured in St Leonards crash

A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash on Saturday night.
The man, aged in his 40s, was struck by a vehicle outside the Big Fish Restaurant in London Road, St Leonards, at 7.10pm.
A Sussex Police spokesman said he suffered serious but not life threatening injuries and was taken to the Conquest Hospital in St Leonards.
The road was closed for about 45 minutes.
