Have-a-go-heroes help robbed woman in Worthing

Two have-a-go-heroes helped a woman who was being robbed. The incident took place in Victoria Road, Worthing, today at 10.30am.

Police said a man snatched a bag from a 55-year-old woman wearing a purple coat.

She was with an older man with grey hair.

Two men intervened and the bag was retrieved.

A local man has been arrested. Police want the victim, the people who intervened and the heroes to come forward. Call Sussex Police on 101.
