Isaac O'Riodan with his models
It was an evening of glamour, style and inspiration at a charity fashion and crafts show.
More than 250 guests flocked to Woodlands Meed School in Burgess Hill for the event to raise money for Children in Need.
The modelled clothes were designed by Isaac O’Riordan, 14. Isaac, who is from Hurstpierpoint, designed and created 20 original outfits for the show all with a modern fairytale theme.
John O’Riordan, Isaac’s father, said: “The event went very well. We raised more than £600 which is a fantastic return. It was a great inspiration to Isaac.
"The event boosted his self confidence which is a major help towards how he copes with his Asperger’s Syndrome. We would like to thank everybody who came and supported the show.”
As well as Children in Need, money from the event on Saturday, November 10, was was also raised for Woodlands Meed School, which merged with Newick House and Court Meadow to form a new state-of-the-art centre for children with disabilities and learning difficulties in the grounds of Oakmeeds Community College in September.
