Seven more claim abuse by Sussex bishop

Seven more men have told police they were sexually abused by former Bishop of Lewes Peter Ball.

Police arrested the Rt Rev Peter Ball at his home in Langport, Somerset, on Tuesday over alleged offences against eight boys who were between 12 and their early 20s, in the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s.

He has since been released on medical advice.

Three more men have made allegations against a 67-year-old former priest arrested the same day in Haywards Heath on suspicion of two separate assaults.

The other suspect, who has not been named, was arrested on suspicion of offences against two boys aged 17 and 18 in East Sussex between 1981 and 1983.

He was questioned and released on police bail until Thursday, November 29.

Detective Chief Inspector Carwyn Hughes, who is leading the Sussex Police investigation, said: “We are very interested to see that so many people have contacted us since Tuesday, and every report is being followed up.”

Lots of low hanging fruit falling out of the nonce's tree, after the vigorous shaking that it's received in the last few weeks. The big juicy apples at the top still seem to be clinging on though, for now. Keep shaking, they'll come down soon enough. The Savile scandal seems to have opened up a can of worms, and The Establishment are desperate to close it up again. Have a ponder on these -

Jimmy Saville's activities seem to have been an open secret in the media and elsewhere.

Saville had a very close relationship with the royal family

The royal family has millions and millions of £££s a YEAR spent on security for them.

Are we supposed to believe that the security team for the royal family investigated this man they didn't consider him in any way a risk..?

Why on earth would that ever be allowed to happen..?

This is something that needs to be looked into properly

The only conclusions I can come up with are:-

Savile is completely innocent of any wrongdoing, and the palace security team passed him with flying colours.

OR

They knew all about him, but let him into the Royal inner circle despite this.

Why?
