Albion player gives Hove school a sporting focus
5:00pm Monday 26th November 2012 in News
Brighton and Hove Albion’s Andrea Orlandi Stabilin talked to students at Hove Park School about the importance of keeping active, writes Louis Mercer.
The club’s new midfielder took time out of his busy training schedule to encourage the students to take up a regular sport.
He said: “Not only is sport great for keeping fit and healthy, but it also teaches you self-discipline and the ability to work in groups and teams.”
Orlandi, who grew up in Barcelona, said that he played football, tennis and basketball before eventually choosing football as a career.
Commenting on his move to Brighton from Swansea, he said that it was great playing for the Seagulls and that he was enjoying living in Brighton because of its vibrancy.
