Graffiti artist champions children's art
A top street and graffiti artist inspired children at The Artroom Brighton.
Pure Evil, aka Charlie Edwards, who featured on BBC’s The Apprentice last year, made a guest appearance at the afterschool and weekend club.
He talked the children through his work and how he started to exhibit, as well as drawing his iconic vampire bunny tag for each of the children.
Later on Twitter he wrote: “LOVED EVERY SECOND!!!”
Sebastian Dewing, who runs The Artroom Brighton with his wife, Alison Horton-Dewing, said: “He’s very keen to champion children’s art.
“I’m very keen for children to meet living, breathing artists, as opposed to just looking at paintings in books.
“I think it’s very important for children to know you can make a living from art.
"He was fantastic at that and he made it all seem very achievable, the children responded really well to it.”

At no point does the story indicate that he is a commercial artist with anything to sell.
