A 24-year-old who had been missing since Wednesday (November 28) has been found safe and well at Heathrow Airport.

Darren Brown, who police described as “distressed”, had last been seen leaving his home in Balcombe wearing just shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops.

Officers were increasingly concerned for his welfare following the onset of the current cold snap.

However, he was found safe and well on Friday night (November 30) at Heathrow Airport.

Excellent - huge relief for the family especially as he was dressed for a trip to the beach and it's turned so cold!
