Sports fans have the opportunity to get their hands on a unique piece of Olympic memorabilia.
Brighton-born middle-distance runner Steve Ovett’s vest which he wore during his dash to gold at the Moscow Olympics in 1980.
The athlete, who now lives in Australia, donated the shirt to Brighton and Hove City mayor Bill Randall in October in response to being made freeman of the city in July.
The shirt, which has a reserve price of £300, will go under the hammer at the mayor’s charity auction at the Pavilion on Saturday from 7pm.
