it is not him personally, but i get your drift. why oh why will the council not consider Park and Ride? if they really don't want cars in the city, give them somewhere else to go that doesn't cost the earth. it is no good saying that there is a park and ride at withdean, as it only holds a few cars. proper sites are needed, and fast
To the east and west we have built up areas.
Where then?

As in 'I have divine right to drive my car as fast as I please. The Greens are tawts. Anything on less than 4 wheels are the scum of the universe. Kitcat et al are out to kill us all via UFO out of body experiences. And please sign a online form that defies the democratic system of voting.'
And it's over to the usual ranters and misinformed Argus readers...

In the midst of a recession when many businesses are struggling to continue paying and employing workers why does he insist (against the will of the majority of residents in Brighton) to push through anti-car parking charges and measures which are seriously damaging many sectors of the Brighton economy.
If you mean bus lanes and cycle lanes, surely the message is a positive one of rebalancing the road environment to reflect the needs of all road users as opposed to just that of car drivers.

In my street less than 10 per cent of homes recycle and we have front and back gardens so there's no excuse?
Is you reluctance to do this because you are afraid of the unions?

As the Economist said car owners can't stand them - the rest of the population have no interest in anything they have done and don't support them. Don't take my word for it talk to people on the bus, in the shops and not just those as the Green Party Christmas do.

Rebalancing?! The parking charges haven't rebalanced they have made Brighton unaffordable to visit for families and anyone other than those on very high incomes. It isn't fair that Brighton should have been sacrificed as a warning to the rest of the country of the consequences of voting in the green party. The Tories and Labour party might be laughing but the rest of us are worried sick about the damage they are causing.
I am also a cyclist and am supportive of certain cycle lanes. I am not however supportive of cycle lanes that are expensive to build, unpopular with cyclists and suffocate the entrance arteries to the city by causing traffic build up which will cause higher levels of population for those that chose to walk or live near the roads where these lanes have been built.

Why did your party then not re issue a release apologising for the false aims and inaccurate data?
Why did the council withold the officers report into the Lewes road feasibility study? Are you happy to be part of a party which is failing to act honesty and openly with the electorate?
