Sheep rescued from hedge after dog chase

A couple of sheep became entangled in a bramble bush after panicking when a dog got loose in their field.

Firefighters were called out this morning (December 15) to rescue the animals after becoming stuck in the hedgerow along Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne.

Crew members pinned down the distressed sheep and then slowly removed them before they rejoined the flock.

Eastbourne crew commander Fitzgerald, said: “It looks like a dog got into the field and they panicked.
“We got them out and they were fine.”

Although I agree with you, it doesn't say that anyone actually saw a dog frighten the sheep.
